Mystic River Boathouse Park engineering to begin

KENT+FROST Landscape Architecture

A Licensed Environmental Professional, landscape architect, on-call civil engineer, geotechnical engineer, and groundwater monitoring service have all been contracted for with the Boathouse Park Project. A waterside engineer will be hired next. All of these separate disciplines are needed to coordinate different aspects of the project to remediate the land, move the Lovelace house, demolish the shed, build the parking lot, and acquire the permits to build the Mystic Boathouse Park.

The Director of Economic and Community Development alongside the Mystic Boathouse Park Committee are overseeing the project. Public meetings are held each month (usually on the First Monday at 6pm) and are posted on www.stonington-ct.gov.
