What should Stonington do about Bikeways?

The topic of bikeways has come up as part of our community conversations about Exit 90 and other areas of Stonington that could be ideal for adding bikeways. The Selectwoman and the Police commissioner are open to discussions about potential bikeways. We periodically hear stories of great visions to connect Stonington bikeways with other towns, but we are not aware of any progress. Could we get permission from Eversource to use trails under the high-power lines for mountain bikes or walking trails?
