2024 Economic Development Commission Openings
There are three openings on the Economic Development Commission starting January 2024.
The EDC is an energetic, committed team of 12 volunteers striving to grow the Grand List, or tax base, to pay for Town expenses – which continue to increase due to aging infrastructure, evolving needs of residents, and the rising cost of living. Bringing in new business under guidance from the Plan of Conservation and Development helps control taxes for residents.
The Board of Selectwomen are interviewing candidates for the three openings over the next three months.
